The Hamilton Beach 22 quart Roaster Oven is very versatile. It can cook, roast, steam and bake. You can bake your favorite cakes, pies, breads or casseroles just how you would in a conventional oven. You can also cook up stews, soups and side dishes.

How long it takes to roast turkey depends on the size and temperature. For a whole turkey weighing 14 – 18lbs and a meat thermometer temperature of 180°F, cooking time at 325°F can take 2 to 3 hours, while a whole turkey weighing 25 - 28lbs, with the same parameters could take 3 ½ to 4 hours.

Chicken weighing 6 - 8lbs with a meat thermometer temperature of 180°F, cooking time at 325°F can take 1 to 1 ½ hours.

It is not recommended to put water in the roaster oven.
